Dr. Elkayam, DVM

Dr. Anat Elkayam, originally from Tel Aviv, Israel, obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Beginning her career in Yuma, Arizona, she refined her expertise at a local animal clinic while devoting her spare time to volunteering at the Humane Society.

Intrigued by the charm of San Diego, she and her family made the city their home in 2022. Now, proudly joining the La Costa Animal Hospital family in 2024,Dr. Elkayam’s passion lies in internal medicine, preventative care, and dermatology. Beyond her veterinary practice, she finds fulfillment in reading, exploring new destinations, and immersing herself in music. Dr. Elkayam resides in Encinitas with her husband, son, and their four beloved fur babies.
